Architect Sara Bergby will lead a team of project coordinators, designers, and interiors specialists.
Sara Bergby, AIA, has been promoted to project manager at Ascent Architecture & Interiors in Bend, Oregon. As one of Ascent’s project managers, she will oversee an architecture team that includes project coordinators, designers, and interiors specialists.
Ascent implemented its project-management structure earlier this year to better serve the firm’s growing clientele.
“Developers and contractors especially appreciate our PMs, who are focused on client communication and satisfaction, budget tracking, and technical team management,” said Seth Anderson, AIA, Ascent’s principal architect. “This structure creates internal efficiency and helps us better serve our clients.”
Bergby has extensive experience on medical and multifamily residential projects, as well as custom residential homes. Some of her team’s current projects include a 30-unit luxury apartment building in The Old Mill District; a 23,000-square-foot remodel and addition to SouthTowne Memory Care in Eugene; Bend Plastic Surgery’s new clinic; a remodel for Blue Mountain Hospital in John Day; and construction administration for the 18,000-square-foot Bethlehem Inn Building 1, among others.
Bergby is a licensed architect in Oregon, a LEED-accredited professional for both commercial and residential projects, and an Earth Advantage Commercial Project Steward.
