An updated outdoor space just in time for summer weather!
Four years after Wild Ride Brew first opened its doors, it remains one of our favorite projects (and the maker of some of our favorite craft beers!). The brewery, taproom, and food cart pod—located at a previously abandoned lumber warehouse—have become a vibrant part of Downtown Redmond, Oregon’s revitalization. Now Wild Ride is further improving its outdoor area right in time for the warm weather!
The owners approached us to update the casual space with a more structured design and improved outdoor amenities. Project Coordinator Travis Smith caught come photos when he visited last week, after the contractors had stripped the asphalt and started construction.
Our design for the patio provides additional lighting and eliminates vehicle traffic through the outdoor seating area. We accomplished this by creating concrete barriers and fencing to define the area and complement the brewery’s contemporary industrial aesthetic.
The plan also upgrades the food truck areas with paver pathways and lighting, creating more connection between it and the outdoor eating area. Finally, new landscaping better ties the grain silo into the customer’s outdoor experience.
The weather’s nice—go check it out!
