Emily Freed, LEED AP, EAC-PS, has been promoted to project manager at Ascent Architecture & Interiors. As a project manager, she will work with the firm’s principal architect, Seth Anderson, AIA, to guide clients and their projects from programming through construction administration, while also managing design and technical teams. This new position at Ascent is designed to ensure a quality client experience and respond to the firm’s growth, Anderson said.
Emily has more than a decade of experience working on a variety of project types, including multifamily, senior living, office, medical, industrial, telecom, education, hotels, and public/civic facilities. Since joining Ascent in 2015, she’s filled the job captain role on multifamily, senior living, and brewery projects. Notably, she served as Ascent’s project coordinator and team lead for Newport Terrace luxury industrial apartments, Trinity Lutheran’s senior living community, and Worthy Brewing Company’s observatory and dining expansion.
“Emily is highly organized, an excellent designer, and has an exceptional technical understanding of architecture and interior design,” said Anderson. “Over the past two years, she’s proven herself as a leader in our firm and has easily transitioned from a job captain to project manager.”
Emily is currently managing a four-story apartment building near downtown Bend; a mixed-use project also near downtown; and multiple brewery projects and tenant improvements.
