We at Ascent Architecture & Interiors are happy to introduce the newest member of our growing team, Designer Jesse Knori!
Jesse studied environmental design, with an emphasis in landscape architecture, at the University of Colorado-Boulder, where she also competed as a Division I student athlete in Nordic skiing. She graduated with honors in May 2017 and moved to Bend to coach at Bend’s Endurance Academy. An elite athlete, Jesse has skied for the U.S. Ski Team and represented the United States at the 2017 Under 23 Cross-Country World Championships. She is currently ranked 15th in the the world for the women’s classic sprint.
“My ski career taught me the power of goal setting, to bring intention to every activity, and to maintain a disciplined lifestyle,” Jesse says.
Our hiring committee recognized that Jesse’s driven personality is also expressed in her design, where she combines an extreme attention to detail with a natural talent for interpreting information visually. Her student portfolio includes award-winning projects focused on community spaces, mixed-use community planning, urban gardens, and public transportation. In her new role at Ascent, Jesse will provide production and design support to our architecture teams for feasibility studies, master planning, and building design.
