Project Manager Emily Freed snapped some pictures during her recent site visit to the Lake Place Mixed-Use Building job site. Ascent Architecture & Interiors collaborated with San Francisco-based McGriff Architects for this urban-infill / mixed-use project located in the Old Bend neighborhood, which rests between Downtown Bend and The Old Mill District. The building features ground-floor retail, two floors of short-term rental units, and a fourth-floor covered “attic” deck for guests. The 12,600-square-foot building features a four-story louvered staircase. Sunwest Builders of Redmond, Oregon, is the project’s contractor.
