900 Wall Restaurant and Bar
Bend, Oregon

completed 2016
6,000 sq ft
Project Description
When some old-building issues prompted an interior remodel of this iconic Bend restaurant, the building owner approached Ascent Architecture & Interiors to assist with permitting and freshen the interior design. We developed a more intimate feel with new lighting, replaced wood flooring and bar tops with colored concrete, and dealt with noise issues. New paint and accent lighting help create a more contemporary feel. Old-fashioned, belt-driven fans not only help move air through the space, but pay homage to the building’s age and provide a point of interest for patrons to enjoy.

Exterior View
New lighting was added to the exterior to illuminate the al fresco dining tables.

View of the Restaurant
New pendant fixtures over the tables define seating locations. Strip lighting integrated into the booths up-light the brick wall and reduce shadows. Large pendant fixtures add character.

Bar
New concrete counter tops and pendant lights update the look of the bar where track lights and wood tops once existed.
