Axelacare Infusion Clinic and Compounding Pharmacy
Bend, Oregon

completed 2015
5,400 sq ft
Project Description
When AxelaCare (formerly HomeCare IV Infusion Clinic and Compounding Pharmacy), a health-care facility, came to Ascent with their project, they had one big requirement: stay operational throughout the remodel. We met this challenge head-on and came up with solutions to help the process go smoothly, including using existing wall locations to limit construction activity in the space. Our architects and interior designers provided the client with permitting assistance, construction documents, and interior design assistance in coordination with the corporate interior designer. The finished work includes a pharmacy with a 500-square-foot clean room; individual and shared infusion rooms (used for the intravenous or non-oral administration of medications); a nurses’ station; office areas; storage; and a conference room.

Treatment Room
This space was designed to be clean and efficient while still providing a tranquil atmosphere for both patients and staff.

Reception Area
Our interior designer worked with the client’s corporate interior designer to create a reception and waiting space that is clean, calm, quiet, and inviting.
