Brookswood Animal Clinic

Bend, Oregon

Project Description

Ascent Architecture & Interiors has an animal-loving team (just ask our office Corgi, Wynifred!). So we were excited when Dr. Ruth Loomis asked us to provide architecture and interior design for her practice, Brookswood Animal Clinic. We used Free Free design principles in our space planning, which included separate dog and cat waiting rooms and exam rooms, fold up tables in exam rooms to provide extra space when needed, and home-like furnishings. Our design includes reception, surgery area, kennels, exam rooms and a self-serve dog wash.

Project Details

Completion date 2015
Size 3,418 square feet

Surgical Suite

The surgical suite, as well as exam rooms, are designed to help pets and their owners feel comfortable, while providing the veterinarian with a space where it’s easy and efficient to work.

Waiting Room

Waiting rooms (which were designed to provide cats and dogs with their own separate waiting space) include home-like furniture to help keep owners comfortable.

Self-Serve Dog Washing Station

The name says it all. Our client wanted dog owners to have a convenient place to wash their dogs before or after their appointment, or any old time.
