Project Description
When the owners bought this house, they saw potential for their dream home to emerge from the existing dark rust, almond, and off-white hues. With their vision for a fresh, farmhouse feel, they approached Ascent Architecture & Interiors to develop a design and guide the transformation. We kept a simple color palette and added areas of interest using current textures, patterns, tile, and lighting. Paying special attention to each room of the house, we created a look and feel that perfectly matches the energy of the clients and their young family.
The house is amazing, and Connie and I are so excited to move in!

A Relaxing Soaking Tub
This claw-foot tub replaced a jacuzzi tub and deck to create a cleaner feel in the master bathroom. The bathroom’s tile provides a pop of color and pattern.

Entry
Reclaimed barnwood creates the perfect farmhouse backdrop to this modern entry chandelier. The combination of contemporary and farmhouse blends clean lines with rustic materials, resulting in an approachable yet eye-catching design.

Library
To help add interest to the bright library—which boasts abundant natural light—our interior designers included a sleek, dark-colored modern fan.

Bonus Room
The theme of clean, white paint continues into this bonus room. The dynamic chandelier adds shape, depth, and color.

Master Bath
The master bath combines white and gray neutral tones with the bold color and texture of hand-crafted tile.
