Project Description
Our scope included remodeling the existing interiors, adding a custom bar, back-of-house prep area with a walk-in cooler, and providing accessibility upgrades to existing stairs and restrooms. A previous remodel under an older version of the building code meant our team had to navigate through code requirements for exit paths, fire-resistant construction, and accessibility. We studied these challenges in our initial space plan. After collaborating with the client and contractor, we refined the layout, then coordinated with the City of Bend staff to answer their questions and ensure the space complied with current codes.
