New West Plaza
Bend, Oregon

Project Description
Our client, the owner of this commercial building, hired us for a façade face-lift. With the creative freedom to revive the exterior within the existing architectural parameters, we replaced the outdated roof arches, incorporated modern materials, and re-cladded the roof overhang.
Before
We suspect that the large arches were originally a design solution to hide the mechanical equipment on the roof. However, we were able mask the equipment and remove the arches, bringing a contemporary sharpness back to the roof-line.

After
Modern design features, like the cool color scheme with pops of bright blue, help bring the building up-to-date. Warm and trendy cedar tongue-and-groove siding provide nice contrast to the blues.

Exterior Walls
We installed horizontal lap-siding to correspond with the existing horizontal lines of the building and painted the large pillars a neutral gray to blend them in with the building.
