Project Description:
The Council on Aging serves Central Oregon’s community by providing resources and support for adults navigating the aging experience. In order to better meet the demands of a growing and aging population, The Council hired Ascent to design an extensive interior and exterior remodel of their new building.
Our scope for the remodel of the former Bend Community Center includes improving the exterior façade, adding some additional parking spaces, and replacing the exterior ramp with an ADA lift. We’ll remodel the interior by replacing the finishes and upgrading the lighting, plumbing, and mechanical systems. The Council’s new space will have nice, open administration offices and wider stairs, too.
We’re honored to be part of this project and hope The Council on Aging will serve our seniors for many years to come in their remodeled space.
