Wild Ride Brew

Redmond, Oregon

completed 2013

8,700 sq ft

Project Description

The owners challenged Ascent Architecture & Interiors to convert a vacant warehouse into a new production brewery and tasting room. Constrained by budget, we found creative solutions to help brand the space and create a functional brewery with room for expansion. The result? An award-winning brewery design that has become a cornerstone of Redmond’s revitalized downtown.

“I just wanted to drop you a quick note to thank you for all you’ve done over the past number of months in helping us build our brewery.  We’re getting close to being done, and it’s exciting to see it all come together.”

A 20 bbl brewing system and 40 bbl fermenters/brite tanks produce the beer that’s consumed in the tap room and kegged and bottled for distribution.

Exposed block walls and galvanized duct work give the space a modern-industrial aesthetic. The bar makes use of reclaimed wood and cut-off waste from the exterior siding.
