Aaron Buckman, Assoc. AIA
Project Coordinator
Prior to and during architecture school, Aaron worked as a mason for 14 years. Within the trade, he moved from apprentice and journeyman to job-site foreman supervising crews of up to 25 workers. His experience and interest in design and construction led Aaron to pursue a professional architecture degree. While attending the university, he spent a semester abroad participating in a cross-disciplinary collaboration studio in Kyoto, Japan.
Aaron enjoys architectural tourism and studying the built environment. Most recently, he and his wife spent two years living in the United Arab Emirates, traveling to roughly 20 countries on their Middle Eastern adventure. Aaron is currently working toward becoming a licensed architect and aims to design and build his own home in the next few years, combining his masonry and architecture experience.
