
Marco Urieta-Leon, Assoc. AIA
Project Coordinator
Marco is instrumental in helping evolve, edit, and elevate design projects in our studio. He coordinates with clients and consultants and shepherds projects along through all design phases. He also has a specialized interest in building envelope design and detailing (i.e., improving building energy performance and preventing moisture intrusion). Marco is highly invested in the success of his projects and his experience includes commercial, multifamily residential, and senior living projects.
Marco has a Master of Architecture degree from the University of Idaho, as well as a Bachelor of Science in architecture. During his time at the University, Marco worked as a CAD drafter within the architecture and engineering services department. An active community member, he served as president of both Sigma Lambda Beta fraternity and the University’s Multicultural Greek Council and was a Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival volunteer. Additionally, Marco spent a year abroad studying urban design at Chongqing University in China. In his spare time, he enjoys playing guitar, camping, and traveling.
